On Feb 1st, the MGSOC community came out in full swing in the midst of winter to enjoy the Gujarati drama, "Everything is Possible" by Swar Sadhana group. The play was enjoyed by all as it was fun-packed with laughter and lessons. Community members were treated with tea and snacks and surplus food was redirected to a local temple, Bharat Mata Mandir. MGSOC is committed to zero-waste!

At our annual Children's Christmas Party at a fun-play venue, our commitment shone through once again. Parents and kids alike came with their hands full ready to give during the very season of giving. Boxes of goodies were ready to be delivered to our friends at the Seva Food Bank. Our community knows when to come together. Support food banks in your neighbourhood. They provide not only nourishment, but also job opportunities and counselling. Volunteer at one today and see how much you benefit.

Each item donated, no matter the size, fills a need in our community. Thus, our team, along with the generous support of MGSOC members, commit to continuing our work of providing nutritious meals to those experiencing food insecurity in our city. We look forward to many opportunities in 2026 to serve that goal. Thank you! 🙏
Seva Food Bank has highlighted our efforts with a very appreciative letter of gratitude for our generosity in 2025.
