Event Description

Come along for a fun-filled day with fellow MGSOC members as we travel by coach from Brampton to Kingston and the beautiful Thousand Islands region. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the St. Lawrence River on a relaxing Thousand Islands cruise, taking in breathtaking views of the islands, historic landmarks, and picturesque waterfront scenery.

Spend time exploring Kingston's charming waterfront and historic downtown, while enjoying a day of sightseeing, relaxation, delicious food, and friendship.

Please note: This is a sightseeing cruise within Canadian waters. No USA border crossing is involved, and no passport is required for the cruise. 🌊🚌🏝️🏛️

MGSOC is subsidizing 50% of the trip cost, allowing members to enjoy this full-day experience for only $70 per person.

If enough members join the waiting list to fill a second bus, MGSOC will make every effort to arrange an additional bus so more members can participate.

Important Mobility Notice

This is an active day trip that involves moderate to extensive walking, stairs, docks, and boarding both a coach bus and a cruise vessel. Participants must be able to move about independently.

Please carefully consider your mobility, endurance, and overall physical condition before registering. If you have any mobility concerns or require accommodations, please contact the organizers before purchasing your ticket.

Seating Policy

Bus seating is not assigned and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on the boarding queue unless otherwise arranged by the organizers.

• 2:15 PM - Depart for Thousand Islands

• 3:10 PM - Arrive at Thousand Islands

• 3:20 PM - Board the Thousand Islands Cruise

• 5:30 PM - Return from Cruise & Enjoy Refreshments

• 6:15 PM - Light Dinner

• After Dinner - Depart for the GTA

• 10:00 PM - 10:30 PM - Estimated Arrival Back Home (traffic dependent)

• The itinerary and timings are subject to change due to traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond the organizers' control.

• The trip operates rain or shine.

• A waiver form will be provided after registration and must be signed prior to participating in the trip.
